How to Reset your Sleep Cycle after Partying on Weekend

Okay this little note is for me.

How to reset your sleep schedule after staying up late and sleeping in.

One trick says to not eat for 16-hours. Interesting.

Other notable tricks include waking up at the same time… not sure this can be accomplished the night of the all-nighter… but def. the next night…

What’s worse is the pro-longed weekend of feeling like sh*t…

So maybe goal should be to reset it ASAP. Wake up at 6am again… cause if you going to feel like shit anyway, might as well be early in the morning.

Morning Leader

I’ve been waking up in the morning the past couple weeks. It started at 7:15am now it’s 6:30am.

I use this iOS app called “Sleep Cycle” that wakes me up between 6-6:30am depending on the movement it detects. (I set phone to “airplane” mode, and put it underneath my pillow *warning* fire hazard)

This way it’s suppose to wake you up, exactly when your 90 minute sleep cycle ends.


My family joined me today. So it’s working. I lead them into the darkness and we became bats. They woke up at 8am today. 🙂
